Proving SEO Works

In discussion with potential clients the quesiton often comes up as to whether we can actually prove that our SEO Program SERG to the TOP works.  So we decided to take a look at some of our client's results comparing before and after SEO.

To do this, we selected several Google Analytic accounts comparing the current month with the same month prior last year for those clients whom we conducted their SEO.  Below are the results.  In Case #1, we increased Unique Visitors by 38% compared to the previous year for the same month.  In Case #2, we increased Unique Visitors by 33%.

We understand that just increasing traffic is not the only metric to measure the success of our SEO Program.  Other important factors are conversion rate improvements and of course the rates of client or sales acquistion.  Bounces can be used an indicator for conversion rates, with the assumption that the less bounce the greater the chances of making a sale or generating interest in your products or services.  Determining what metrics are best depends on the client and their goals and objectives.  However, no matter how you look at it SEO should increase the number of visitors to your site, and these graphs demonstrate that SERG to the TOP Program works.
